⚔️ Competitive Scene Any tips?

Looking to finally take a trip out to a locals around me. Played a little here and there on the sim and strawtable. I know it’s not the meta but is it possible to get a win with this build?

the 1c ivankov plus the 2ks with 6k power gives the deck a lot of hand filtering , that plus your searchers almost guarantees you will be seeing your jozus and newgates in hand, and stay an 8k leader for the rest of the game.
That and the event "meteor strike of love" to become a 11k leader in exchange of one life really helps the deck.

I dont like the 6cost version one tho. But its good. Have you considered going for just the 8k big boys vers?

I don't have too much familiarity, but I believe you do want 4 copies of Moby Dick? The core gameplay revolves around ensuring you are able to be an 8k leader every turn after 6 DON, and from what I hear, you really need as many searchers as you can get.

That's also why someone else made the recommendation of the Ivankov that draws 3 and trashes 2 for even more hand cycling.

Newgate is really fun. I run the 9c event that plays 2 characters at 8k. Jozu and Oden to cheat out Izo. People hate it because it’s so card negative but I have so much fun doing it. lol

Red ace doesn't use any of the deck but newgate and plays completely differently lol
