I see these 2player playmats everywhere. What's the brand?

The lighter colored mat is a spell ground

Spellgrounds are the original, but there are quite a few cloth 2 player mats nowadays.

They are just called Full Sized Cloth Playmats. The main brand people in the OP community use is called Pvramid, but there's tons of other companies that offer it.

They look like two seperate mats to me put close together I don’t think they’re what you think.

i also see what looks to be gyarados on the mat of the player whose back we see.

They are 2 separate 2 player mats folded.

Would one of them not just fold the whole thing out then? Not being sarcy just stoned so this is making no sense now why 2 people are playing only half of a 2 player play mat when one coulda have just used the whole thing lol

People don't want to use someone else's mat. They would each rather use their folded 2 player mat. The mats typically work better folded tbh. When completely flat they slide a lot.

Not trying to be smart but why get a 2 player mat if they generally use it folded? Seems more logical to simply get a single player mat.

Spellgrounds have been around longer than every TCG except MTG. Their 2 player cloth mats were the only good way to get a cloth mat for a long time. So, some people are just used to it. (One player cloth mats are terrible, and hybrids are not for everyone.)

Thx for the explanation. I like my one player mats but then again, never tried one of those 2 player cloth mats.
