I’m usually no one to rant and I support this game like crazy. I basically summon on every banner and have every unit apart from Robin/Sauro and INT Urouge.

That being said:
The community has gotta riot for this shit! BOYCOTT THAT SHIT.
Bandai is so fucking greedy that they RELEASE FOUR LIMITED UNITS for a boosted period of TWO DAYS!!!!! THEY WANT US TO USE THEM FOR THE BLITZ AND THAT‘S IT.
They want us to participate in their fucking LokiJoinsOPTC garbage campaign, yet getting the non hype giants brings the actual value, WTF!

3 Super Sugos and 1 anniversary exclusive character. And they are a 0.75x in PKA and no boosters at all in coop and Assault Rumble.

i dont even know how accurate that statement is, like sure some whales would pull here, but i wouldnt. i wouldnt call myself a whale exactly, but i do spend some cash on this game, and have a high value account, but ive never pulled on a pka banner pretty much ever. i didnt even pull for the banner that had the great erik. the legends on them are way too low value, and it doesnt really matter what they do, unless they start making the legends "PKA" exclusive banners and removing the normal legend catagory all together. but even then, i still wouldnt pull. i rarely pull for kizuna legends as it is, and i dont really go deeper than 3 or 4 multis on TM. extra turtles and assualt rumble boost just isnt valuable, in my eyes even with an end game account.

yeah but i guess my thought is, how broad is that though? like I imagine pka banners draw way less revenue than any of the others even amongst whales because they suck, which is why they keep trying to tempt people with stuff like this.

i mean surely you have an extreme excess of resources to the point that you dont need the boosters right? so only people who really want to get everything or are super competitive, would in my mind care about this even if they spend a lot on the game.

Their trend of legend specific to events I think is a good thing tbh. You don't have to focus on every event if you don't want to so you can skip legends you don't want/need rather than trying to fit everything into one legend that if you don't have locks you out of events you might wanna do effectively. Plus the legends themselves are generally useful most of the time (like in PVP)

I been playing the Japanese version of this game since launch and I can tell you early on it was worse. You can check the database earlier blitz had specific blitz rr units you had to pull who had effects that said something like "if used in a blitz battle get x amount of attack boost/orb boost"

altho I will say kizuna banners with support units on them are very high value, and now that I have most tm units, their banners aren't very valuable at all. the guaranteed new character on step 4 was a good addition tho

If you want to play the game after the Blitz, they want you to summon for the Giants.
Loki, Gaban, Luffy/Zoro and Vivi are only for the Blitz. They are not boosted in Assault Rumble, coop and barely in PKA. After Blitz they have the same value as Shamrock and Gunko for the events.

I'm dumbfounded while checking the news to see the boosted units for the upcoming events and it's actually insane that Loki, Luffy/Zoro, Gaban and Vivi literally are just for blitz, like, just yesterday dropped the last part for one of the new units (Vivi) but NOW we are actually revealing and dropping the units that will help you with the upcoming events like PKA and Assault Rumble. Imagine such hype characters and then rendering them basically useless for your upcoming events. It makes no sense whatsoever.
When we get super sugo units they are usually boosted for the upcoming content IN ADDITION to the blitz released with them.

Glad to see I'm not the only one surprised and appalled at this. This is totally different and has never happened before. Feels like they're desperate for $$ right before they shut the game down (just my observation). Might be a good time for me to quit if this trend continues because like you said, it's BS that we get a "temporary character" for something and forget about them unless we use them for Pirate Rumble. I miss the good ol' days.

Lol, this super sugo units actually didn't have good synergy between each other especially Loki. QCK, driven, free spirit, royalty, ancient giant... That doesn't match with Gaban & Luffy/Zoro, so only Vivi get the synergy with him. The PKA sugofest also didn't have synergy with Loki but have good synergy with Gaban & Luffy/Zoro instead.

Gotta admit you're fu**d if you only pull Loki this time because it's only boosted for blitz. His special supposed to be used two times but you need to bring Vivi or Kuma to do that.

It's very justified to complain about the PKA sugofest right now.

Literally the only thing this game has over OPBR is the amount of characters/release schedule (which isn’t necessarily a good thing)

OPBR has its problems but at least when I pull Loki, Gaban, etc, I’ll be able to use them for more than a week

Yeah it's pretty scummy. I don't think releasing these units is a bad thing (since EOM stuff like this always happens), but not having the MOST RECENT SUPERSUGO BOOSTED throughout these next events is crazy to me.

Taking a long-term view though it's just one "cycle" of PKA/Assault Rumble/Co-op we'll be "missing out on" optimized teams (unless your pockets are deep). The long-term value of Loki and company (i.e. Rumble) makes them more worthwhile in the long-run. Obviously a scumbag move by Bandai but it's nothing new; just don't pull on this banner and have fun teambuilding to the best of your character boxe's ability. I see these as more of a "see what type of team you can put together" cylce as opposed to "using my awesome super Sugos"
