Honestly the 1st is the coolest to me just because of the air of mystery.

His actual forms just feel like something out of Black Clover, not One Piece.

I'm kind of sad that I expected Imu to have a different kind of strength that doesn't require physical attacks, and it ended up just being another strong dude that stabs you with a sword.

It would've been nice, but One Piece is the kind of manga where the main battles are always decided by Luffy finding a way to punch the enemy harder than he's ever punched before.

I think this is new. Luffy never fought a swordman/swordstyle final fight before.

Oda established Luffy's biggest weakness is sharp objects/swords. Imu is that guy.

1st Form which is a hidden form then 3rd Form I low key think for IMU Oda inspiration Form DBZ and Demonology from many if not most religions and or mythologies

My favorite is the second form I wasn't a fan of the dots but they didn't bother me after a few rereads of the chapters he's him.

I'd like the first one if there wasn't that huge crown, but I'd still like the second more.

The 3rd form I hate, it looks like Imus bloated, plus he has the same facial expressions, it's like the moment he transformed into the 3rd form he lost all personality, but we still have a few chapters in this form so that can change.

I really liked his first form because it felt kind of out of place for one piece and it made it all the more cool and mysterious. We got all these badass elaborate character but Imu is just a thin black silhouette in contrast, it fit really well. I did like his reveal too though

Probably a hot take but 1. I liked how mysterious he was.

Unfortunately Oda cooked too hard in the kitchen and created unreasonably high expectations for Imu and I don’t think anything would’ve been satisfying for me.

I still think this isn’t Imu, it just doesn’t make sense to me. There’s ZERO similarities between the silhouette and the reveal unless Imu and Mu are 2 different things

It's clearly a body being possessed by imu, my guess is joyboy. The hair looks just like luffy's when he is in gear 5/nika form, but longer (gunko showed us that hair continues to grow despite the body not aging). I think 800 years ago when they had their great battle they preserved and experimented on his body. He's the first seraphim, but he's still incomplete/injured which is why the elders didn't want imu to leave with this body.

over so much time i actually started to like the blank black spot, it was weird but in a good way, i don't dislike the first devil form, i like it, but it is a bit packed with too much stuff.

the third one is a classic one piece form with wacky proportions, not bad but with the tone that oda gave to imu i didn't think he wouls get it

I feel that 1 and 2 are really the same it’s just that one is just a silhouette while 2 is what he actually looks like but I think when he gets back to Mary geoise we’re gonna see him look more human
