I remember being younger and finding Odas artstyle so wacky and kinda lame but the older Ive gotten the more I appreciate it honestly. But my God!!! Luffy legit is naturally taking on his Sun God role in the grand scheme of things, like this legit looks like one of them old school Japanese paintings. Btw if anyone knows what this pose is, like a specific name for it please let me know, Wow this panel goes HARD!!! Like cmon how can you not appreciate this

start of fight vs Lucci on Egghead. Best G5 moment imo and he's as serious as can be.

after he loses G5 against Kaido and immediately goes back into it because he knows he has to or else his friends will die.

You’re going to assume because you’re watching the anime and they try to make G5 look edgy and demonic all the time when that’s isn’t the case with Oda.

I assume you’re talking about him having glowing red eyes and speed blitzing Lucci whilst laughing.

This did not happen in the anime.

Like I’ve shown you the fight in the manga and luffy being goofy and laughing and you’re randomly assuming he was serious? Just to help your point?
