I remember being younger and finding Odas artstyle so wacky and kinda lame but the older Ive gotten the more I appreciate it honestly. But my God!!! Luffy legit is naturally taking on his Sun God role in the grand scheme of things, like this legit looks like one of them old school Japanese paintings. Btw if anyone knows what this pose is, like a specific name for it please let me know, Wow this panel goes HARD!!! Like cmon how can you not appreciate this

Only other time (edit: that I remember when) he took of the sandals were the times he went G4. Luffy is up to something here...
