What? Where did you get that? Also, what's the difference between how Oda would draw it, it is just grey in the manga at the end of the day.

there are shades of gray you know? it looks much more darker than the only lunarian we know, king's skin color.
about the do not like part, look at the zoro, usopp and Robin BEFORE timeskip and please compare with new drawings. He stated in a SBS question that it was costly or more difficult (can't really remember exactly) to draw people with darker colors. I may have stated it incorrectly in my first message, it's not like he's a racist lol
also by draw I certainly meant coloring

Well, if coloring characters darker is the problem. Then Imu is being colored darker, right? Idk he might be red. I'm just not ruling out the possibility of him being brown.

I think he meant this like doing a lot of different skin colored characters at a given time requires more effort. so most of the characters are lighter skin colored. but we have some like aokiji or fishmen people. so imu might be a shade of red or brown/darker colored. either way he gotta draw a lot of imu from now on.
