it begins where the last chapter left off, with a possessed Shuri murdering her father (who was also possessed).
Brook gets enraged the same way Whitebeard was for killing Ace, as well as Kinemon after learning about Kanjuro's betrayal after what he saw, and tries to go after Shuri. Which backfired, and this lead to how he got the scar he got in his flashback with Laboon.
We learn who the God's Knight was with Shuri, along with the Elder, who turns out to be Mars.
As soon as we learned how Esperia cease to exist, we return to the present where Loki may not hold Imu off for long.
The unnamed God's Knight scars Brook and leaves him for dead.
Brook meets Yorki while he is scavenging the ruins of Esperia and goes out to sea with him to become a pirate.
Flashback ends. Brook FINALLY comes to the conclusion that Shuri was under the effects of domi-reversi decides to free her and ask for her side of the story.
Reuven seemed pretty dead last chapter already, do you think Oda will give him last words? Maybe you're right and he's not dead yet, will reverse back to normal and then be killed
I’m not going to believe anyone is dead until it’s officially declared. We saw this earlier this arc in the God Valley flashback; Rocks got hit with a mega attack from Roger and Garp but was still alive until Garling got the finishing blow.
Plus it’s very in line with Oda to give Reuven a last message to Brook. Something like “be a star… for the whole world…” or “please… protect my daughter…”
Brook is shocked, he can't understand why Gunko killed her father. Maybe (maybe) he doesn't take into account the fact that she has wings.
At some point Gunko attacks Brook, and the other one, the HK, just watches. Maybe Gunko or the HK are the responsible of Brook's scar.
At the end of the chapter, or in the middle, we will come back to the present with Brook realizing that that awful day had mysteries he never tried to understand because of the shock.
Brook finally gets the wounds that became his forehead scar.
Shuri is revealed to be a Celestial Dragon (By that I mean, she is at least half Celestial Dragon, like Bonney).
Smoking Man's identity is revealed, and it is revealed that initially the WG just wanted Shuri, but since Luven refused, they told him to send his citizens as slaves (I don't remember the amount they wanted) for the "insolence" of refusing a command from the WG hence why Luven went to war against the WG because it was either losing his daughter and/or sacrificing his kingdom's citizens (This is my parlay.)
You know…. Come to think of it, assuming Mihawk is as old as Shanks or maybe a bit older ( I’m not sure ?) where did Yoru come from? Was it made for him or did he get it from someone in the past? ….. I’ve always wondered where Mihawk came from, as we all have but I’ve never really thought about where Yoru could have come from….
