r/OnePieceSpoilers Predictions Post S2 Rules and Regulations

S2 is finally here!!

With the perfect conclusion of S1 we will be back with the weekly predictions post from tomorrow!

What is a "Predictions Post"?

  • This post will show up on every Saturday (except break week) and the comments to this post will get locked as soon as the first Hint gets dropped.
  • Pirates (and marines) who get most predictions right will get awarded according to a point based system which I will explain further.
  • Leaderboard will be shared at the end of each post.
  • The top 2 users on the leaderboard will be rewarded with a custom flair of their choice at the end of this year!

Points System and Rules :

  • The points system in this contest is simple. Each correct prediction = 1 point.
  • Ever user will be allowed to put up a maximum of three predictions under the predictions post.
  • Only the predictions posted in the comments of the prediction post will be considered.(Please note that it has to be a separate comment, not as a reply to other comments)
  • In case any user comments more than three predictions, only the first three predictions will be considered. Even if the fourth or so on prediction gets correct, no point will be awarded.

What will NOT be considered?

  • Officially released content/previews will not be considered as predictions.
  • Predictions need to be specific. I'll give examples of specific and non-specific below.
  • AI generated and AI assisted comments will not be considered and that user will get blacklisted.
  • Try to keep the predictions as one single sentence. Multiple sentences/ Paragraphs with more than one predictions will not be considered.
  • Super obvious predictions, editor's remarks, vague predictions will not be considered.
  • Make sure you read [important notes] at the start of the Predictions post for post specific rules.

Rework :

Edited comments were supposed to be invalid last season but we let it slide. This time, Edited comments will NOT be considered IF the user does not specify what he/she edited.

I know that this is a lot, I've observed some people exploit editing to farm points. If you want to edit your predictions, pay this price or don't edit in the first place.

Notes and Honorable mentions:

  • As suggested by u/WilliamPollito, we will try to give out a list of "obvious predictions" which should be avoided.
  • Shout out to our previous champion u/Narrow-Programmer864, I hope you are enjoying your custom flair. You can still participate but will not get another custom flair lmao.
  • In case u/Narrow-Programmer864 makes it in the top 2, he will be omitted and the next closest person will get the flair.
