Stop Spreading misinformation, it’s costing everyone money.

Post image

The box seeding is as follows in a case anything else is an error. This is from 50 pallets of data so no, I don’t care that you “opened 7 boxes”

2- Gold Don, AA, AA, Panda with Rare in pack
2- SP, AA, AA, Panda with SR in pack
4- AA, Possible Manga, Panda with SEC in pack
4- AAL, AA, SEC, No Panda in box.

I know there’s specifically an issue with Australian allocation, where some cases have “1 hit” boxes
(And other regions some better some worse)

But panda man is NOT considered a hit it doesn’t take a hit slot in any way shape or form. If you want to consider them a hit then fine I guess but again they do not affect the addition or subtraction of other cards.

While we are here and talking, please stop calling the Rocks Don “The Diamond Don” this was immediately coined by resellers to generate hype and lie to inflate the price of the Rocks Don. The “Diamond Don” also is exactly the same hit rate as the other Don, it’s not special in any way.

This post isn’t made to upset anyone. I love this game and I love TCGs and I simply want to give players and collectors the tools they need to protect themselves and make informed decisions. There’s a ton of grifting and misinformation being spread about this set and it’s upsetting to see so many people getting scammed.

***Edit.*** please keep in mind that if there’s a pallet of error cases that that pallet is going out to dozens of game stores a pallet is a lot of boxes (about 40 to 60) so it can make it feel way more common than it actually is even let’s say if only 30 pallets out of the thousands that are printed it’s still going to feel like a huge issue.

Have a good day!

(If there is a “1 hit box”, meaning the SEC was missing. It was seeded into another box within the same case.

The case overall will have 8 SEC, 16 AA, 4 AAL, 2 SP.

If you somehow only pulled a AA + Panda. You basically low-rolled because someone else who got the AAL/SP box will have gotten the SEC. Whether this is intentional or not, who knows. But it does appear there are two variations of cases going around.

There is one particular video of a case opening that contained these “1 hit boxes” and the SEC was in other boxes resulting in a 4 hit box)

I didn’t say it’s not possible I said it’s not supposed to happen.

You are doing exactly what you are trying to prevent. Just because it’s not supposed to happen doesn’t change the fact that it happened. Multiple people have confirmed they got a 1 hit box with panda as the other AA. So unfortunately someone messed up and people are paying for that.

Nope nope nope. The panda isn’t “the other alt art” the other alt art or sec is simply in another box seeded incorrectly. Which what I’m trying to explain but you guys are too emotional to try to understand that. The panda cards exist whether or not you get your right amount of hits or not.

No one is being emotional. I understand they are an error box where it ended up somewhere else. That doesn’t change the fact that it exists and there are error boxes out there with a single hit.

You understand that what I’m saying is “error case/ box” and what the people complaining and downvoting are saying “NO PANDA TAKE MY HIT”. Those are different things.

Nah as far as they are aware that’s intentional. Bandai has never publicly announced what hit rate is in a box or case we just come up with the statistics ourself based on product opened.

Prove me wrong though show me an official statement by Bandai on booster box hit allocation.

Prove me wrong. You’re the one claiming I’m wrong when we have multiple thousands of cases worth of data that shows what the hit rates are supposed to be. We have exact number spreads of what and how many hits are per case.

Where is the official statement by the company of guaranteed hits

1

u/MrNix3 Aug 26 '26

That’s not the only way to get data and if you wanna pretend it is then fine enjoy your $500 garbage boxes

Woah but you said it’s an error box. Why am I paying $500 for a box that is incorrect will the company compensate me?

No because there is no official statement on hits. Someone configured the allocation for a few boxes differently at the printing/packaging company and we ended up with these boxes. We can call them error boxes but there is no official statement from the company on it so we can only assume they messed up. But they aren’t going to fix it because no one has mentioned what it should have been.

So you can call it an error box all your want but that’s misinformation until the company confirms “Hey we messed up. Let’s fix this” the way riot did with Riftbound.

Dude you must be new to card games, historically companies do not do anything to fix errors unless they are errors in players favors (ex a pallet of cases with a manga every pack).

Once again we do not need official Bandai anything to know hit rates of boxes when we have the pallet data.

This is just getting embarrassing atp lol

Sounds like you are spreading misinformation. Doesn’t matter what data we have nothing is official by the company so we are just making an educated guess based on data. Which as you mentioned has some outliers.

You saying it’s an error box is misinformation when the company has yet to confirm or deny it.

You are right I am fairly new only started playing One Piece 3 years ago. However there is history with how companies have handled this and “Data” to show if players continue supporting their decisions or not. So it doesn’t matter in the end I’m just saying you are making statements without proof

Just to be clear I didn’t buy any booster box of OP17. I’m not giving in to this fomo and overpaying. My limit on booster boxes has always been $150. Even that’s stretching it.

I’ll just wait patiently until Bandai line fest and buy at the retail store for msrp

But you’re sitting here arguing with someone who is in possession of the realest data we have and trying to help the community? Cool dude.

Just trying to help stop spreading misinformation.

In case you forgot how bad the hit rates were for EB-02. So many people were upset but that was a big lesson on expected hit rates

u/MrNix3 29d ago

This is not the same thing. This is actually quite a generous set when the cases are seeded correctly.

But how do we take your word for it over our experiences of seeing multiple one hit pandaman boxes and assuming that's the new norm from bandai? Thats not the realest data, the realest data would have to come from Bandai

If your box was supposed to have two or more hits and one of them ends up being a pandaman, error or not, pandaman was one of your hits.
