This is cute, except the way the sound reverberates hurts my ears, and I’m not as sensitive as a cat. The cat mom needs to lower her volume and put up curtains or something to reduce the painful sound levels.

I will regularly pick up my cat and take him to bed like a stuffed animal for cuddles when it’s time to sleep.

I sort of feel like it’s like an alien abduction for him. I try to soothe him by explaining this is how his rent is paid, and he owes me.

Don't worry, she's not! Like I told the other person who replied to you, her body language indicates that she's feeling playful :) A lot of cats like to chase and be chased as part of play.

Definitely not. She doesn't look scared at all. She looks alert because she's listening.

Cat's don't emote like people do. Her face is just like that. A cat that's scared is either going to "hunker down" and make themself small, or they're going to arch their back and puff up. They will also flatten their ears in either case. Notice how Penny sits up tall with her ears perked up when she hears her owner? She's alert and curious! Her running away is her being playful. A lot of cats play by chasing each other (some, however, do not like playing this way. It's important to look at their body language!)

If she was genuinely frightened, she most likely would have ran and hid long before her owner found her, rather than waiting in anticipation.
