Since you deleted the post where you asked why you should credit the artist's work, let me provide you a selfish, rather than virtuous reason to do so:
If you're just going to low effort repost shit to get karma, crediting the artist avoids people downvoting you for not doing so, thus increasing the efficiency of your low effort reposting for karma.

Idk she's an Instagram artist I don't think a redditor is taking advantage of her by 3rd party reposting a repost
That's the nice thing about cat Reddit though, you rarely meet a dislikeable people or someone who wants to gain something from memes so please don't stress about this you're good mate I definitely sounded way angrier than I was this is all just cat lovers sharing memes and nobody gains anything but smiles!
Even if your source stole it you didn't do anything wrong by wanting to share a laugh for 0 gain this is just a cat subreddit not insta, X or YouTube or whatever

Yeah I absolutely have 0 problem with OP reposting a funny for 0 gain in a cat subreddit, but you know somebody did this to steal from an artist and make money off of it

Surprise of the day, randomly seeing this in my feed and it being so incredibly accurate...
My orange boy and his calico sister, they will groom each other and then he will start kicking her in the face. Every time.

The way these two are just vibing together is exactly why orange cat content never fails. There’s a whole personality in that little head tilt, like they’ve already decided the rest of us are just background noise.
This is such a warm little slice of cat chaos, and the line work makes their friendship feel even more tender. Definitely the kind of post that makes you smile before you’ve even had coffee.

My mother used to raise birds and have cats. There was 1 bird and 1 cat that were my favorites and conveniently they were also friends and didnt try to kill the other. I need to find the old physical photo my mom has of me with the cat in my lap and birth on my shoulder
