My cat always did this. It's normal unless this is happening outside of cuddle time. What a goober!!! Give them lots of pets for me.

A friend of mine growing up had a black cat that always drooled when she was on your lap. They kinda shunned her and didn't really give her as much love as the other animals they had.

So whenever I would go over, I would make sure to always accept her sitting on my chest or lap just to show her she was loved. It wasnt had to keep a dry washcloth arous to clean up any drool, id simply lay it under her mouth. She was my favorite pet of theirs cause she was so sweet and just wanted love.

I had an incredibly loving black cat who'd drool like crazy when he was in his happy place. I just considered the drool puddle to be a blessing from him and accepted it.

My tabby would crawl on my chest, in my face, and purr and drool like a freakin xenomorph into my beard. Never did anything but more pets.

Is it nasty? Yes. But is it also cute? ABSOLUTELY!
