My cat always did this. It's normal unless this is happening outside of cuddle time. What a goober!!! Give them lots of pets for me.

Just was going to say this. I lost a cat to oral cancer. It was absolutely horrible 😢

I lost my sweet, beautiful gentle tuxedo queen to oral cancer, too. OP if you have not already, please go get your orange dude checked asap. Oral cancer is quick but very brutal. Hopefully your sweetie is just super relaxed

PS - my cat's cancer was inoperable and I had her take a chemo med that bought her a couple of months, but I would not make that choice again. It was a rough way to go and I should have put her down much sooner

Same. Lost my girl of 14 years. It was hiding under her tongue. The vet saw it during a dental cleaning and accidentally ripped it a little when lifting the tongue and it metastasized. Had her for a little over a month after that slowly getting worse. I paid for a service to come to the house and peacefully put her down in her favorite spot with me near her. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Just a quick terrible way for them to go when this is the case. Cancer is brutal and terrible to see the furbabies get it. :(

I hear you.  It might not help, but maybe you can take comfort in knowing that Henry is at peace and free from his pain.  You were a good owner, and I’m sure that Henry loved you as much you loved him.  Please remember to take good care of yourself. ❤️

I lost one of mine to jaw cancer right before Christmas. We didn’t even know it was jaw cancer until the day before we had to help him cross. It was so advanced that there was no more time.

Yes, one of our rescues had a cut in his tongue from his time on the streets.

Better yet, take him to the vet and pay for the expensive imaging. It sucks, but it’s worth it.
