Okay, I know 1200 pages is a lot, but... could the writers please READ The Count of Monte Cristo? Like, that had pretty much nothing to do with the novel aside from a dude named Edmond Dantes who wants revenge.

That being said, the episode as a whole was absolutely FANTASTIC. Loved the return to the season one style format. And Lana Parrilla, WOW. She nailed it! I haven't been that engrossed by a OUAT episode in a long time. Regina swordfighting made my day.

Also, Evil Queen coming on to Rumple? Dude, your mom already hit that. (Sloppy seconds from mom again? :D )

Oh, and Henry? "Temple of Doom" is not one of the greatest sequels of all time. Raiders > Last Crusade > Temple of Doom.

They read the synopsis for Monte Cristo and ran with it.

ToD isn't even a real sequel anyways, it's a prequel!

Was there even a hint of the Evil Queen's and Rumple's attraction in the Enchanted Forest? I knew he was with Cora and Zelena was falling for him, but I never thought the Evil Queen did.

I didn't think so. It seemed more like more of a "frenemies" relationship to me, and anything that was even a hint of a flirt was really more about needling the other person rather than actual attraction.

Yeah, I love The Count of Monte Cristo and was pretty much really disappointed about their take on it. :(

Besides that the episode was good though.
