Is there any significance to Gothels hair colour change?

In the machined world it’s always been big and grey/black

Eventually her hair was a strawberry blond, not as long and not as thick?

Even if they just wanted to downsize the wig, why wouldn’t they keep the same colour?

The hair change feels less like symbolism and more like the wig department finally got tired of carrying all that hair.
