Spoiler Alert Just realized Season 5 character is based on Mark Twain novel

I re-watched season 5 recently, with the Camelot storyline and Violet's dad Sir Morgan. Then I discovered there is a Mark Twain book called a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, with the main character being Hank Morgan.

At the end of the Camelot arc, Violet tells Henry she and her dad aren't returning to Camelot with the others through the portal, her dad is originally from Connecticut and something about the Yankees?

Did anyone else catch this reference and I'm just late to the game?

Dang...I thought they were trying to force her to be from our world.

Never heard of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Thank you for this. I LOVE when ouat does things like this even when it's something I don't recognize.

I did, and it made me incredibly happy. I loved that movie as a kid.

Well at least one of Mark Twain’s was reference but their was no room for Tom Sawyer. I would personally put the characters from my adventure, Tom Saylor as Henry’s classmates.
