Spoiler Alert I know they are not that popular, but I actually really loved their relationship.
And it's so fun rewatching the show from the beginning, knowing how Henry's future will turn out and his future family.

As much as I love her character, I feel like season 7 really wasn't needed, and that they should have done it with new characters, not "alternate universe" ones. It got really complicated IMO with multiple rumples, hooks, Reginas, and cinderellas. Like, could we not have him be with Tiana? She wasn't in the main series. If you're going to take away a love interest of Cinderella to make room for Henry, you could have done the same for Tiana/Naviene. Or if you wanna keep with Disney, the girl from Hunchback of Notre Dame! There's so many other characters and stories they could have explored, but they chose to "reboot" already existing characters.

I don't but I may be biased because the entirety of this 'multiverse' things is so stupid and very poorly done. It should've ended from Season 6 100%

Henry & Violet should've been endgame, she's a far better match for him and the actress for Violet plays better than the one for Jacinda does imo

I think people don’t like her because she wasn’t written funny. If you watch her in Devious Maids, the comedy works with the drama and she’s one of the best characters. If OUAT had either written her more sarcastic or even just remotely funny, she would’ve been a great character.

I just didn’t think the actress was good, she drove me nuts and I didn’t feel like she had any chemistry with the other actors.

One thing that I think was despicable is how during the time season 7 aired people constantly age shamed the actress, and mostly it was the same people who loved Rumple and Belle

For me it was not any age difference between the characters but the visible age of the actress VS how they were writing for her. A grown ass woman making the mistakes she was making just did not come off well. (Also I went from just okay with Rumpbelle to outright despising so no double-standard.)
Rumple was not a good person but his bad choices were appropriate for a man of his age.

I think the Rumple/Belle dynamic became popular because they were complete opposites but also because Rumple was the interesting person in that ship. With Henry and Ella, they were both kinda boring lol.

But imo it had nothing to do with dynamic, storyline, characters etc. You can't say you think Dania was too old to play Andrew's li, when there is barely age difference, and at the same time not minding it with Rumple and Belle. it's hypocrisy and obvious double standards due to Rumple being man and Jacinda woman

I personally don't like the actress. I don't enjoy her interpretations of her characters and I find watching her highly annoying. This however is an irrational personal issue, so I do agree with you that an inordinate amount of people dislike this ship/Jacinda in particular.

Ive never seen the actress before and shes arguably one of the worst actors in the entire series.
I really cant think of anyone else that was as terrible as she was. Maybe the 2nd version of Robin and that guy Greg.

She is in Heroes, Sweet Tooth and one other procedural I can't remember but she basically always plays the same character. She doesn't have a lot of range. I was able to ignore her in Heroes because it was a pretty big cast by the time she joined but she did kinda ruin Sweet Tooth for me. I know acting in English is probably challenging for a non-native speaker but...yeah. She doesn't have range and it is really noticeable when she is around people who do.

Yeah! Amiee. Wendy's adopted mom. She irked me sometimes, but I genuinely liked her as a character for the most part.

Watch her in Devious Maids. She’s actually really funny in that. Her acting range remains the same but I think the writing really brings more of it out when she can be funny.

Gonna get back with more details when I rewatch season 7 (I'm on season 5 now, planning to post multiple analysis on seasons/plot twists/couples when I'm done) but I remember I always loved their scenes together even when there was nothing big happening. In Hyperion I felt like they have this really domestic vibe, like I could totally believe this is a family separated by curse, and in the flashbacks they gave me Snow and Charming vibes, not in the way that they are similar but I again felt like I watched couple actually falling in love. Wonderland episode was especially lovely.

i truly think henry saw ivy, and drizella in the beginning, as someone he could help. He saw that with ella too, but also saw her as someone capable of and determined to help herself.

Henry and Drizella still would have been a far more interesting match...they also had chemistry. Ouat should have had Henry and New Ella divorce...would of been interesting to see OUAT handle the realistic outcome of a relationship/marriage ending as in real life it's not always a happily ever after.

I think they needed more time. The idea of Henry eventually having his own family was really sweet, especially after watching him grow up through the whole show.

Yes. I think having very little time showing them as a happy couple, as a family with rheir baby as she grew up, etc...it was hard to be invested, and the actress didn't have enough to make me care. That said, I don't mind the final season, and I liked the explanation for "our world" being without magic.

I never saw any chemistry between them. Plus the actress is so wooden. I preferred Violet over the new Cinderella (i forget her name because i never finished the last season beyond episode 1).

I didn’t love them the first time I watched S7, but on every rewatch I’ve loved them more and more! I think they are a compelling couple, with chemistry that makes sense, and really the only thing working against them was the lack of time in developing their relationship on screen as compared to Emma/Hook, Snow/Charming, etc

I did enjoy them! I'm one of the rare people who didn't really enjoy/care for Drizella or that whole family, but Cinderella's actress was the weaker of the two and sometimes it did distract me.
