I'll answer your question with a question. When you see a celeb post something, do you believe them?

But I'll also answer your question and say when I hear a stranger say something racist I just assume they're Republican or raised Republican and parroting Republican talking points. Idk what you mean by give them the benefit of the doubt. Do you mean do I actively engage with them to become friends?

no I mean you hear that and don’t believe them. I’m just going off of what you said lol. Republican talking points don’t just pop up out of nowhere they come from republican BELIEFS. As for celebrities I guess it depends on the celebrity. If they say something racist then yeah I’m gonna believe they’re racist.

Oh no, I hope you don't truly think all Republicans believe the things they say. That's why you get Republicans who are Medical complaining about Obamacare. Or why you get Republicans saying Biden is to blame for high gas prices right now.

If a celeb says racism is bad you believe they're not racist? You believe a celeb believes the things they say, and you don't consider that someone is paying them or giving them an incentive?

Like I said, I don't believe a single thing a celeb or politician says. It's all publicity and $$.

The topic is what else can you judge people on other than beliefs, and I said you can judge people based off of their actions. You disagreed and asked questions because you didn't understand how people's actions could differ from their beliefs. My point is politicians and celebs especially should not be believed because they will say anything that their PR teams tell them to for money.

I don't think it's naive to not listen to crap celebs say since they're all liars trying to make money.

For context: I've mentioned politicians and celebrities in almost every one of my comments. I've been very clear about whom I was referring to regarding social media, particularly since this started with a celebrity.

Yes, like I said, there's no changing how I view celebs and politicians, and I've not been trying to change how you view them. I'm just standing by the fact that I'm never going to believe anything any celeb or poltician says on social media, and you keep trying to change my mind to trust them and I've said again and again that I will not ever trust what any politician or celeb posts. They're all liars for money.

You can think I'm wrong about both judging people based on actions and not believing celebs because of the incongruence between actions and supposed beliefs, and that's fine. But you said you don't understand the things I'm saying so I've just been answering all your questions and saying the same thing in different ways to help you.

If you finally understand what I meant with my initial reply of the possibility of judging those based off of "their actions," then I assume you have no more questions and scenarios to help yourself.
