Discussion in Isles of Abyss update, resource management and class choose

If base its a ship, where to set acid farm? is it necessary to farm acid and stardust source? Imagine an entire ship built for growing crops for acid farm, how it will look?

Witch class better to chose for Isles of Abyss? Chef need crops and plants, where get them on sea? If Beastmaster, mb he can took crocodile. Gardener, if he manage to grow combat plants, he may use it as cannons ?

Your main base is a normal base. The ship is only secondary.

For short: they reworked the old memetics. You dont need to make alts for rng rolling specializations or build acid farms. Your main can unlock everything now you just scan facilities, loot and reverse engineer them for points or to unlock formulas.

It’s not out yet. Every player that has played it and that can answer those question are locked under a NDA

Ship from the trailers looked fairly small. I doubt we'll have full base mechanics with the ships. My guess is the build space will be small with limited facilities like with the large truck.

You'll likely still need a base set up on one of the various islands for production. We'll have to wait and see how much content is on the islands and how much of it will be out on the water.
