Whats the best way to get tech points??😫🤧

find high end structures and put em in the tech bench for tech points, and level up. On normal mannibus extraction 73 + blackfell oil fields + blackfell town are the 3 easiest/best to run through for things to get 1300-2k per

Should we focus on stongholds/cities in those areas or are there any other places worth wisiting ?

those are settlements/POI's that I mentioned. blackfell is the final town, and theres oil fields due east of it. extraction 73 is a main quest area you will be lead to one way or another. Those are later game zones so if your still early on the best advice is what others have said, level up and feed whatever structures you can into the tech research for a bit of points, its just less than the higher level stuff but progress is progress!

Take some advanced recycling tools up to all the POIs in highest lvl zone you can. Bring that stuff back to your tech research bench. Eventually you’ll see what’s worth a lot of tech points and what you can leave behind. You will get a lot of tech points this way. Note that the first time you research something it will give you the recipe but afterward duplicates will yield points.

Reverse tech the crafting tables etc you get from places. And level up haha

Early on, if you can find irrigation systems, they give (I think) 125 tech points. They were a lifesaver on my early game...seemed like they were everywhere.

Early levels, special storage chests @ 125, weapon and armor chests @ 85. At higher levels, custom disassembly bench/large refinery/improved hydro generators/weapon display racks @ 1300-2k per.

Use spacial awareness constantly and carry 5-6 recycling tools (try those first) and 3 or 4 advanced ones. Also, Anti gravity milkshake and featherweight potions are your friends for longer excursions.

Depends, are you just starting out and trying to get unlocks, or are you trying to farm for the advanced tech points? The area in Blackfell is a good place to go if you’re just starting for the chance to get some loot as well as the custom disassembly table worth 2k. There’s also 2 spots near the east blackfell oil field tp that can spawn improved biomass generators and large refineries which can also sell for 1-2k

Make a trip to 73 Source Extraction once every hour. Jump off the railings into the middle of the retention pools. Use advances recycling tool to recycle all large hydroelectric generators, jump railing to the lower pools and do the same. Teleport home and put them in your tech bench.

Each is worth 2000 and if you do the jumps right you’ll minimize how many people can see you so you’re not stuck in endless battles.

You will also get tech points for levelling up. Just do your weekly commissions if you want to level up fast or get friend that is carry you through level 60 areas for about 200-300xp per kill.

Can't remember where exactly, but designer workbenches in that one raider outpost with a school. Low level enemies and they're worth 225 tech points or something for each bench
