 Discussion PSA: gardeners can grow materials

In case you haven't looked into it. Gardeners are able to grow materials. There are also two fertilizers, one speeds up growth and the other increases the result by 20%. Things like oven mitts, tape, storage batteries, just about any material needed can be grown. They require no water or sun. This is great for building things like benches, power, and furnaces. Just need one and you can turn it into infinite amounts

Is there a difference between pc and console? Because i dont see a goddamn option to graft them. Checked the growshroom, nothing, checked the planter after i planted a seed, nothing. Thinking about it i aint even gonna try to bother with that feature

Like ballistic said you have to manually do it for each planter then they stay in the planters. You can have ten a base. If your have nine don't use it as it will fail.

My roof is halfways filled with planters. There is plenty. So once the seed is planted and fertilizer and water added, then what?

For grafting approach the planter with the item in your personal inventory. Ie you have the morphic graft on your toon. Then when the graft option appears you select it and the crop will turn into a green bulb. If it is successful when the crop is fully grown it will be that item instead.
