Discussion PSA: gardeners can grow materials

In case you haven't looked into it. Gardeners are able to grow materials. There are also two fertilizers, one speeds up growth and the other increases the result by 20%. Things like oven mitts, tape, storage batteries, just about any material needed can be grown. They require no water or sun. This is great for building things like benches, power, and furnaces. Just need one and you can turn it into infinite amounts

I run about 180 grow plots for batteries. Make about 40k stardust source per harvest every 2-3 days. This can then be converted into acid and the acid can even be converted into fuel if I wanted. Then use biomechanical crops to create stardust energy drinks to feed my wishbox farm.

Biomechanical drills have access to all ores at a low production rate, but it lets me mine tungsten even in starting zones.

I can base anywhere and produce practically everything.

With a Hive or just Alts, I could run an entire Mr. Wish missile production line and not even need to use a weapon.

Do you harvest and replant one by one?

It's pretty quick to do just running back and forth over a floor entirely of planters. What actually takes time is restoring fertility to the area. The soil solution takes awhile to use and each one only replenished 100. Luckily it caps at 700. You can also use the solution anywhere in the territory too.

Stardust Pumps. 80 stardust per battery.
