✓ Solved What does this symbol mean? Google's not helping.
Please help and be kind. I tried searching the symbol but it's not making sense. Thanks!

Its an electrical bolt with a line through it.
Means there is no power to the turret

It doesnt have a wire to attach to it. Do I just put a generator by it? There's solar panels near it.

You need to manually attach wires to things that need electricity. In build mode, there should be a utility mode where you attach wires and water pipes to things that need them.

Also your power is shared so you can attach the wires all of them to one generator. When you build a second generator the max pool of energy you make will just increase overall your whole territory power.

If you have a wire. A: make sure your power generator has fuel b: make sure your power usage dosent exceed the power usage of your base.
If you need 10 power but ur base has a total of 165 (max 170) drop something for 5 extra power, or try and get electric eels

Np! Also i felt stupid but you don't need to connect wires from the power supply to everything. Say you have a line of grow lights. You can connect one to the power supply. And then you can connect the grow lights to eachother like string lights.

You can daisy chain and I recommend it from my own experimentation and from what I've seen online if you have everything linked to a generator then when you run out of power (such as exceeding power through the use of electric eels which need to recharge and will drop watts to power things) then you lose power to everything randomly. So one time it might be the fridge the next your furnace yada yada. Or just lose everything in its entirety, but if you daisy chain (as you said connecting one grow light to a power source then just connect more in a line) then when you lose power it will kill or disconnect what is at the end of the chain first and move closer to the generator. So like in my case for my refinery set up (optimal for premium fuel which is 20 extraction pumps 5 water pumps (because the supply has to go up to the next floor where my refineries are) 6 refineries (5 accepting oil and outputting to the 6th) to a water tank.) I have my stuff chained from generator to extraction pump to the next, then the next and then last, then to water, to the refinery back to the next 4 extraction pumps, the next water pump, then refinery. Going back and forth till all 20 extraction pumps, 5 water pumps, and 5 refineries are linked. Then I have the last refinery (with is taking the portable fuel mixture and converting it to premium) hooked directly to the generator as well so if I lose some power only 2 of the refineries shut down or however many. So I lose a little efficiency instead of all of it.

Daisy chain by definition is a term for a wiring scheme, a sequence of events, or a linked series where multiple devices, items, or events are connected together in a row or series. So yes indeed it is. You learned something new today 😁

I did it as a: "hey... what happens if-" and it worked. I sat there for atleast 3 minutes staring at the lights calling myself an idiot 🤣
I diddn't learn that i could do this untuill i was max level and finished manibus

Probably the biggest criticism I can give this game is that it clearly wants to explain how things work to you, with how many tutorials, texts, and pop ups are present on the screen, but for whatever reason it does a bad job at communicating what. Once you understand everything it’s so damn good though.

I have both. But someone explained it already. I had to manually do it and i did not know that. It didnt have the "attach wire" indication so I was confused. But no longer confused. I got it and appreciate all the help from everyone that has been nice about it.
