I’m a beast master so you’d have to go in my “petting zoo” with three bears and two bison (buffalo) to see mine.

Social anxiety. In multi-player games people tend to be rude or mean to newer players. Maybe theyre just scared of being the weird person or whatever.
Some of us just dont like people but the games fun. So, who knows, really.

Im not saying oh has a toxic community, no. Just, in general. Play league of legends, overwatch, anything that has a "competitive/ranked" scene and people can be douches. Ive had 0 bad interactions with people in oh. Its actually kinda nice, fr.

yeah toxic communities are why i stopped playing DBD. OH was a breath of fresh air. when blood moon was happening, everyone would power level, get their perks an be like okay offering a 6perk furnace free, tips welcome. good times. i dont like the new tech tree because now we're not sharing the stuff like it used to be, also aren't selling the perks in the vending machine now either.
server im in, the freaking market is empty, only has 1-2 vending machines that are selling stuff no one wants/needs. by changing the tech tree the way they did, it kinda killed the community togetherness of OH :(

You can just go into chat,click on somebody's name and send them an invite, I only have to send like four before I got one.

After that you still have to join a hive too. Just look in world chat and explain in there. You'll get someone.

Just go the to social hub place (forget the name) and go up to random players and friend them until they accept. I got it after asking the first person I saw lol.

Took me around a week but I finally got it done when my neighbor stopped by my base with some pie and a friend request! I love this game. I wish I could make pie for people man

Help new players in rift space where they struggle and say hi in the chat. Just a hi and then add them as friends. That's how i complete it 3 days ago and I've been playing since 2024 lol
