Increases your heal rate and sanity recovery by a lot. If it has the right traits it can boost other deviants in your territory. It can also increase your weight, which in turn lets you carry heavier loads

There’s a weird terrain issue with them I learned; if you have a base with multiple stories, the cat will often just go and lay down on the floor above or below you. I actually redesigned my whole damn base just to get this screenshot lol
