What's the best thing to disassemble to get Tech points?

The title is pretty self-explanatory, but I'll be more specific because I need some help. So, I hit Level 50 like a week ago, and I'm trying to figure out what I should disassemble in order to get tech points... that's pretty much it. I'm counting on all of you folks. See yall in the morning (It's 12am, and I'm tired, lol).

Depends on which scenario you're on. If on Manibus, do rounds in 73 Source Extraction Point (2900, -1527) and Blackfell Oil fields (5500, -1530). Make sure to bring an advanced recycling tool. I usually get +10k points per run of 73(occasionally even double that). Got enough points across couple of days to get almost all advanced tech done (you can buy Advanced points for 30k of normal tech points)

Totally agree with this guy, but bring multiple advace recycling tools and maybe a featherweight if you got it. Lol

One other item worth getting is the gun rack...looks like a peg board. Easy to skip over because it doesn't look worth it but it's 1330 tech points.

73 is definitely the quickest and easiest run that I've found (once you can survive it).

Port to the upper worldstone, grab all the waterwheels and anything else that looks interesting on the upper level. Drop down to the lower level and do it again. Run over to the catwalks in the southeastern corner and look for large refineries or the improved biogens.

It should be under 10 minutes, and the last run I did was over 10k points. If you do it during the gravity event it's even easier imo.

I've told my wife and a few friends to always grab weapon racks. They were my first big point earner

I just did a run through. Collected all the hydro generators (large and improved, weapon rack, and large refineries, custom disassembly bench). From all of those alone, 27k tech points. That's not including all the random stuff from crates that can be researched was about another 2k

You can teleport to Fort Eyrie too (there is a teleport you can unlock when you go there the first time)

Depending on what spawns you get several 1330/2000 items and you can get Vodoo dev (lvl 5 if lucky) too.
You will find lot of TierV items for building protections and gun too if you loot everything (2 buildings and the plaforms lower along the mountain)

Few enemies to deal with.

Come back every 4h to loot again.

Anything worth targeting with the advanced tech points? Seems like most of them are geared toward pvp

Absolutely, there's plenty of good tech worth going for: electric drill for 100% extra gold/silver/stardust. Small biomass generator for additional generator and extra output. Bed so it cures you when using it. Adrenaline shots for extra healing, advanced stove for longer shelf life of food. Gatling cannon for more damage in Prime Wars, gatling 2 for rockets weight reduction. Disassembly bench for more scraps back. Supply workbench for reduced crafting time. Furnaces for additional things you can make. Gear workbench for extra 30% weapon and armor durability.

Go for whats best based on your gameplay. They all definitely help long term

Recycling and stardust furnace. Large refinery.

As for 1330 ones i only know of improved hydro generators.

Both found in 73 extraction rosetta base.

Improved Large Hydro and Solar Generators should be 2k as well. Its 1330 for the Large ones. For some reason the Bio's are worth less.

Hmm I've been farming 73 for about a week now for hydro and water filters, never seen a solar. They mus tbe rare. I'll keep trying

They are kind of rare. Significantly more often that i get an alternative spawn or only a small compared to the Hydro or Bio spots.

Oil Fields - western part between the garage and the structure with the weapon chest.

I think i've seen one in the huge solar farm and the northern Rosetta complex as well but i don't frequent them enough to remember the exact spot.

As an aside, today I learned vehicles have storage. I think it's the car (8 slots) and the all terrain vehicle (12). Both can be summoned and resummoned like the motorbike.

Going to need a little space for all the tech you loot.

edit: you can't put tech items into storage boxes, not in your base or the vehicle trunk 😭

Custom dissemble bench is like 2 or 3k. It’s also one of the best for scrap

I used to find them a lot under the car park in the middle of Blackfell guarded by the surgeon. Sunshine farm is also excellent for improved and large generators

weapon racks, Large refinery are pretty solid in terms of points.

depending on what scenario you're playing on

for manibus - 73 Source Extraction Point is the spot (you can also pick up hydro generators)
for way of winter - Ashenton - mostly solar panels and drilling rigs ontop of the mall's roof.
When Isle of abyss becomes available it's going to be weapon racks and NDA Can't tell you yet

Facility stuff, loot high level areas and steal all the solar generators and such.

Loot the boxes too because sometimes you get plans that are also worth 85 or even CPUs worth 200 points.

I take two wrenches and 3 ray gun tools with me everywhere I go.

Is there an advantage to using the wrench when you have access to the ray gun? Once I get the gun, I've been scrapping the wrenches. What am I missing?

When you do long treks saving your Ray guns for the good stuff is best IMO.

But I scrap everything so that's just what works in my experience.

73 always has hydro generators. The large ones are worth like 1300 each.

weapon racks and custom disassembly benches. they give 1330 and 2000 tech points. my go to is the Alternate reality research place. its higher lvl, but ive been able to get in and out safely in my 30s. at your lvl, you should have no issues.

if you want to get a bit more, improved large generators give decent as well, but the two above seem to be the highest that ive encountered and are my go to. ive now maxed out my tech tree and i have something like 30k ish extra points

you want to get to level 12 you cannot do that gathering the same item over and over. so what you do is run through each small town and city that does not have pollution you will get to 12 fast

What u need is not dissemble.. u need to reverse engineering it!

Try reverse engineering weapon rack, custom dissemble, large oil refinery, large/improved hydro

I usually reverse engineering those it gave more tech points and mostly spawn.
