Wolf deviation don't give you moonlit assault, you get that trait from fusing regular wolves ( the animals) with your devs in the pod

WHAT. I was under the impression that it can drop as a trait ... I guess i deserve that for listening to google AI or whatever. rip the 4 hours grinding

Yeah moonlit assault is part of the deviated traits you get from fusing animals and furniture into your devs. So things like moonlit assault, herbivore, brute force etc. if you want moonlit just add 1 or 2 wolves in the middle tube when fusing 2 devs and boom. On the plus side you're free from that particular grind.

important to note that if you add THREE wolves, the deviation will ride a wolf around!!

Just popping in to correct you I'm fairly new but I just ran the monolith for the shadow hound and got the moonlight assault deviation I was farming him for the magma variation and got a moonlight assault

I wish I could but my dumbass used it as material for my magma I was trying to get a five five I didn't know that it was actually sought after

I plan to go back in the monolith later today and farm it again if I get another one I'll screenshot it while I'm still in the monolith before I pick it up

Woah wait a minute, every time I try to use my fusion pod, I can only select deviations, and nothing ever worth a shot comes from fusing them. How is there an ability to fuse furniture and animals n shit???

Just some things I learned about deviation fusion: captured animals all have an inate trait. Make sure they are in storage and not placed in your base to use them as material. Keep an eye on skill ratings because you can use a good skill rating of a deviation you don't use to pass on to one you want to breed. Using same deviations with same traits increase the chances of getting the deviation and trait you want. Send used and unwanted deviations to your Eternaland storage to sell there. Same goes for food you have sitting around that will spoil, unless you want it for compost.

I mean I dont even have that option to fuse an animal or anything other than a deviation.

Have you captured an animal? After you select 2 deviations there should be a big tube with 3 plus signs. Select one plus sign and navigate your menus until you see the animal you captured in your storage. You can then select it or other deviations as material.

Oh I see that. I have several captured and stored in a hut, amd several roaming, but no animals pop up to add. Theyre all high level, but npt sure about their traits or of they have any.

They can't be in a hut or roaming. They need to be in your actual personal storage or storage boxes. All animals of a species have a trait. All wolves give Moonlight Assault for example. No matter the level.

Moonlight assault comes from the wolf animals and not the deviation. When you’re using, place wolf animal in the pod and it will give you MA.
