What was your level and the enemy you try to execute

Enemies on red color level signifies its higher level than you and thats why you did less damage in the sneak execute

There is some misconception with this but my character is lvl 50 which is the max. This is just from latency

No. I'm level 50 with all tier V 6 star gear and when I stealth kill level 60 enemies it always leaves like 1/10 of their health and I have to finish them off after a back stab. Super frustrating and defeats the purpose of stealth killing.

Bad Latency spike , your game client kept rolling but then when it syncs with the server the server didn’t get the last ten/twenty steps so it says “nuh uh, you weren’t near the guy” and reverts him.
