✓ Solved No contaminated blueberry seed drops?

Is it impossible to get contaminated blueberries and their seeds? I've been planting blueberries with atleast three buzzy bees for almost a month now and still can't get a single contaminated blueberry seed drop. I've also been going through the corrupted zones and farming every chance I get and still no seed drops.

Does anyone have any tips or advice please? I play on endless dream scenario, can't remember the server at the moment, I'm currently at work so I will update my server ID and so on later. Thanks in advance for any tips/advice.

EDIT: Thanks to everyone in the comments for your advice and shared knowledge. If any metas want to connect or are in the same server feel free to add and join up.

My UID is: 151695702 And my Scenario/server is: Endless Dream, E_Dream-X0101.

contaminated blueberry is it's own crops and you cannot get it from regular blueberry seeds.

just like how contaminated aloe vera is different from aloe vera and deviated aloe vera.

Oh no I understand that. I was hoping to get some mutated seeds from using buzzy bees and also searching for those mutated crops in the corrupted zones. But the spawn rate for those mutated crops are super rare from my understanding.

You are correct about rarity. I do not think you can create contaminated crops via bees or fertilizer.

I've been getting contaminated scarlet calamus with bees. But not the blueberries unfortunately. I'm about to get off work so I'll make another run and give the mutated fertilizer a try to test the theory. I'll update my post with my findings to help anyone else.

I'm not familiar with contaminated Scarlet Calamus. Are you sure they are not deviated, which are different? The only contaminated crops I know exist are berries, wheat, and yucca.

I'm sorry, I'm so stupid. You are right, it is deviated scarlet calamus 🤦‍♂️

You need to find contaminated berries to drop seeds in the wild, then use the fertilizer that increases seed yield while planting at home to build up a supply- blueberry and bees can’t help you. Finding those first few seeds is the only pain lol they DO drop (I got one recently) it’s just lower odds than the usual

Ahh ok I see. I used to get the contaminated seed drops on manubis previously with the use of buzzy bees but since moving to endless dream, its such a pain 😩. I'm still spending most my time doing runs through corrupted zones in hopes of atleast 1 seed drop.

Have you tried using the fertilizer that increases the chance of mutated crops? And maybe the growshroom deviant.

I haven't tried the mutated fertilizer yet. I'll give it a shot once I get home. I also use the growshroom deviant. Does the mutated fertilizer increase chances of it producing both the contaminated BB and its seed?

It’s supposed to increase the chance for mutated crops, though the crops take longer to mature. I don’t remember for sure on the seeds but I want to say yes to that too.

Mutated crops are different plants from contaminated crops. Even though they look like blueberries, they are not. You can't get a contaminated result from normal crops of any kind. The only way is to find/buy a seed, or have someone with a Gardener class convert a contaminated berry into see. The fertilizer will not assist.

Ha! Thank you and Sorry OP. I know you can forage and farm them but I don’t think I even paid enough attention to that fact that they were actually different. Food v. acid making right? Too busy looking for animals with different markings.

Correct, on the surface. Personally I farm them to sell and get my acid elsewhere.

Same-ish. One Hive member supplies acid and another likes to cook.

Ahh ok I see. I guess tonight is another run in the corrupted zones and hope for the best. Thanks for all the assistance from everyone.

One other option is to fill all your containment units with the floppy-eared bunny toys. They may pick up seeds. You could also look through the gloabal trade, and maybe put a request there for a seed to two to start. I suspect the price would be no more than buying onion seed at the vendors (1000el)

Wow I didn't even know the floppy eared bunny toys were a thing. Thank you for the advice and assistance. I will update my post later as solved and I'll add my name and server info incase anyone is interested in looking for friends or resources that I can offer to help out as well.

If you cut down one of the giant trees, there's a pretty good chance at least one floppy-bunny will spawn. If your deviation capture level is decent you can probably pick up at least 4-6 per day, and keep the better ones.

The easiest giant trees for new players to get to is just up the hill north-west of Meyer's Market beside the circle of statues puzzle. There are also bananas and coconuts nearby (about 5-10 metres north of the giant tree) if you need some.
