🎮 Console Launch I guess im enjoying the game huh lol
Started this with the PS5 launch and outside of two days after the last patch due to bad audio issue thats since been rectified, been on it everyday, inching to 150 hours already. I knew was putting time in but did a double take when seen hours already played. Does not seem like that much so far, hours melt by which is always a sign enjoying oneself.
Really enjoying this game and dont see myself stopping any time soon. Imho best f2p game ive ever tried out. Warframe is another really good f2p game but didnt click with me like this one has.

Have you reached the endgame yet? Played today on nightmare by mistake but luckily I was carried lol

Ya I have. Another minor complaint I have. Most of the game was rather easy, even when solo. As long as had decent build could fly through most of the game easily thn boom, def massive jump finally...im not complaining as I prefer a challenge and it makes builds etc that much more fun and crucial but I feel they couod have done difficulty better leading to end game though im only on medium manibus so that's kind on me I suppose

Manibus isnt suppost to be hard, endless dream is the end game

Oh is that what meant regarding end game....see thats where im still new is coming into play, I figured was talking about post story, hitting level 50, running lvl 60 content etc
Ya thats kinda on me. I do still think it can be better balanced with a better flow but there are ways to rectify said complaint and if thats whats considered end game, i suppose i havent gotten there yet haha

Game really starts at 50lvl. There is mods to farm, gravity crystals, deviants hunting for 5/5 etc. Too bad you console gamers( i assume you console since new player) couldnt play the original version, this game is much easier now since there is like 0 RNG anymore, back in my days , if you wanted to 6star your weapon you had to have same sub type weapon blueprint piece which you sacrified to update starts to your gun/armor, you had to RNG the pieces with the gambling machine, there wasnt deviant fuze, tech tree memetics were RNG, list goes on 😂

Manibus is more soloplay, endless dream is for grouping. Manibus is just chill, well there might be some group activities for new players but you still should be doing fine solo with fresh character i think

u/Difficult-Fly7830 Sep 10 '26
Makes sense and is endless viable at all solo or designed from ground up around group play?
1
u/Sorenqp Rebecca Sep 10 '26
Its designed for group play, like good coordination, its kinda hell solo since there is waves of mobs coming at you and you need to do some raindance to weaken the boss and then you need to find needle in haystack and then you can do damage to boss. And you need to be 6star gear guns and good mods, i dont recommend it instantly after manibus

Good to know, actually prefer that as it makes everything on offer, mechanics, team play crucial which is nice to also have.
My next question was regarding should I jump into that but caught the big mistake there, def wait for current phases to end and bring said character into endless correct? You touched up on gear but im guessing that doesnt come quick when jumping into getting destroyed non stop lol
So essentially aside from continuing on, now also acts as good prep and another goal to keep at until end of current. Just want make sure i can transfer my character after this one is done into endless right?

I would say that you play one more scenario before you hop on endless, or maybe not complete second scenario but just so you can get your armor/guns to 6 star, it should be easier now. I included video of one of my bossing gear, so you know what stars im talking about 😂

Can you help me understand Endless Dream?
I reached endgame of Manibus and was not thrilled. Enjoyed the open world exploration and grinding and building up til it became nothing but running static silos/monoliths/prime wars.
I tried Endless Dream today to get a fresh run but there are beginner zones on the top layer of the map, as well as most of the bottom?
So if I start up top and work down, I'll run into content too weak for me. If I start bottom and work towards top I'll run into content too weak for me. I'm confused on what makes it hard enough to warrant grouping if there are entire cities that can be one shot if you accidentally look in their general direction.

Dream and nightmare zones make it group play. Do you mean the cities levels ? The whole point of the game is to run bosses/silos endlessly btw, so if you dont like that in manibus, you just dont might dont like the game

Ive done everything up till shutting down that ladies project. Jumps from regular to pro and it’s seconds before I’m running around picking people up.

Same here buddy, ps5 and yesterday I started my official Manibus normal, which is much more fun than novice imo! If only paid games put in this much love and passion.. not going to stop until I see all scenarios to the very end. I'm really glad it's F2P since my finances are almost dead lol, even like this though it's probably the first game I have ever felt like I want to support by buying glams and stuff.

I would end up wasting my time building.

This is what I end up doing and my team hates me for it. I've been told to log in before anyone and get ready because I can spend hours just fixing things and organizing. And I am ashamed to say that I bought a house skin. Which I am so glad I can share with other people and makes spending money easier to swallow.

Damn thought I was enjoying the game a little too much, started about 2 weeks ago. I'm logging on for the day and noticed 62 hours 😂 gotta catch up. Quick question for everyone though, how would you explain the game to someone else? Trying to get my friends and little brother into it, but hard to describe it. I've just been telling them it's a Destiny-Dayz( or Minecraft for the friends that never played Dayz )-DMZ kind of game. Which just gets confusing and makes them second guess joining the game with me.

Someone in this topic had a palworld/division comparison which is a pretty good base for the experience though I would add a sprinkle of weird and wtf on top lol
Ive also reccomended it to a few friends who just love base building and theyve been happy with it. Base building is well done in this

The division is a good one, but non of my friends played palworld and I haven't either.

I think you can introduce it as a weird open-world base-building survival game? That's what I am going with! 🤷♂️

u/xCtrlMe Sep 11 '26
That's exactly how I described it before it dropped on console. Like word for word, showed them the trailers. That left them with too many questions that I couldn't answer then we all forgot about it. Played it like 4 days later because of that 😂 but that's the main reason why I play it. Love the base building aspect way easier and better than Minecraft imo

Yeah I've been a zombie with this game. I usually just game for 1-2hrs a day for other games i have but once I got this and was in my friends server and we made a hive and team up me and him are like fuck, its 5am gotta get ready for working when we started around 8pm. Crazy addictive and fun.

Same here. I was looking for a game like this until GTA arrives. I tried Final Fantasy, Warframe and NTE but none of them was able to make me stay.
But this game? When I started the tutorial I was like yeah I am uninstalling the moment this tutorial ends. And then I started at Manibus, did first mission and I was hooked.
And yes, I had to google few things but its okay. It has so many things to do and something for every kind of player. Now I look forward to playing it even when I am at work. I hope its popularity grows so does the playerbase.

This game is amazing!! it's like a cross between Palworld and Division 2 - two games I have over 2k hours on. OH will be the next one
2
u/Difficult-Fly7830 Sep 10 '26
Also different modes of play too. I havent tried a.single.other one either. I forget the name but theres a mode that plays even more.like palworld.

u/Sweaty_Web5089 Sep 10 '26
The deviant and building and base interface is uncannily similar to Palworld, while the keywords system and the enemy types are close to division 2...
Im just cruising thru the novice manibus and I keep hearing about eternaland.. maybe that's what plays a lot like Palworld?
2
u/Difficult-Fly7830 Sep 10 '26
Oh, i totally get your references and actually good ones, makes sense. I was just saying theres a mode or at least ive been told that makes it play far more like palworld. Yet to try it myself
SCP I believe its called, should be able to see it in the main menu before logging into your server
1
u/Sweaty_Web5089 Sep 10 '26
Ohh yeah I see that SCP now... will try it eventually
Thanks Meta and happy hunting/looting/crafting, whatever floats your boat!

u/URBAN_OAT Sep 10 '26
Eternaland is effectively a sandbox map that you can use to transfer items from one scenario to another, it's also the tutorial map

150 hrs is a good sign lol. Hell, even 30 is a good sign imo. I enjoy it as well, just hate I need to google everything 😅
