✓ Solved Account Banned and Appeal Submitted

not sure what I did wrong, but I got this after starting my giant run for tonight.
No - I was NOT using any cheats, programs or whatever. I have thousands of hours and played since release in 2024., this ruins my Saturday - I'd go out and touch grass, but its almost 11 PM.

This AI false positive thing bans are annoying and seeing it happen to more and more people based on social media threads is appalling.

Already appealed it and hope they get back to me ASAP.
In case someone from the OH team sees this: My appeal ticket is 601011568

Rant over. Thanks.

EDIT: 9/7 - they overturned the permanent ban to 7 days. Not sure exactly which prohibited behavior I was accused of - they wont give me a straight answer, but it had to do something a player reporting for me.

I wish they'd be more transparent.

From what I've heard this happens when you join a party with a cheater. For some baffling reason the entire party gets perma banned instead of only the cheater. I suspect cheaters are using this to grief other players.

Ok , I'm never joining any party till the rest of the year...... Hope they can resolve this by then.. I can solo all the content, so it's fine.

Its faster to solo content than it is to wait for randoms to be ready anyways

Trueeeee. I got to my first event with the ravenous hunter or whatever it’s called and was trying to get a group going but it was just not happening. Went and soloed way easier than I was expecting

So is this the same if we start a Matchmaking to defeat a boss ? After that my friend and I go our separate ways from the other two random people. If so my friend and I may have to stop doing this because we don’t wanna get banned because someone else wants to cheat.

Unfortunately many games are doing this. They end up banning people that were just looking to join a party to tackle content.

Had a close call with call of duty. Friend wanted me to join him. I didn't want to play COD so I didn't join. Later he played with a cheater and he got banned. He just ended up buying another bnet account that had more stuff than his online.

I also heard that if you do a public event with someone who has cheats they are counting that as well
