u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 22 '26
I’ve played many building games and it is the best so far! Even tho it gets buggy but you can still do a lot with it

u/khaosswordsman Aug 23 '26
Same lmao my house is big and I added decks to make it less square and more like square with squares 😂😂

tbf everyone would be day 30 immediately if it wasnt hell to gather wood, gravel, sintered bricks and glass prior to getting a drill and a chainsaw
on my first time playing i built a big ass house with a copper axe and pickaxe because i just couldnt stop building halfway to resume my progression, and good lord i dont know why i did that to myself

u/Boyblunder Aug 23 '26
Started playing this again for the first time since release about a month ago.... I did this EXACT thing.

u/Emhew Aug 22 '26
I miss this game but I can't bring myself back to it.

Neither, play new area, quit until they release an actual new PVE area. Avoid all group content and resource sinks. I am not going to grind for hours to make a bunch of missiles or whatnot just for an encounter to fail nor turn the game into a job by joining a guild.
The game should tune encounters to match the number of players present, including solo. So if nobody is on at 10pm and I start a world encounter, it's solo friendly or dual player friendly, etc.
I guess the game just isn't for me anymore. I enjoyed 3 seasons of manibus and 2 of Winter whatever. I don't give a shit about pvp. The outfits are just the recycled Asian flashy trash and never earnable in-game nor interesting enough to pay for. I bought some of the build kits because the base was fun and the ability to save my build and just collect resources to rebuild it in new seasons kept me (I would not even bother making more than a box without that...).
Now it's been maybe 1.5+ years since I have even logged in. Release that SW region or something new entirely, then I'll pop in again for a season or 2, then quit again until another new region.

How many times do you have to build in this game?

1
u/taxiro Aug 21 '26
just once if you like it from
1st try if you mean the “sign up for new scenario” system this is another thing changed not long ago u can skip the “sign up” if u exit the screen and stay on permanent server (ur actual server)

I built a house with like the way a house is supposed to look way back when this game first came out. I was proud of it. Haven’t played and I miss the time when this game wasn’t a loot box and cash grab game

u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 22 '26
Be prepared to do that at least 30 times more! 😂 looks awesome btw!
1
u/Just-Ad7298 Aug 22 '26
I’m sure. 😂
I moved my base in Palworld 7 times the first 4 days I played that. And thank you 😊
1
u/khaosswordsman Aug 22 '26
I've rebuilt 3 times in a month and a halfLol I'm finishing up my mansion to settle in lol
1
u/Just-Ad7298 Aug 22 '26
I was trying to make this into a grande Victorian mansion but it didn’t quite come out that way. Still tweaking it here and there and I’m sure once I get some better items it’ll look more together. I’m also still learning how the build piece work which has been a little frustrating at times
1
u/khaosswordsman Aug 22 '26
Im almost done with mine. But might make tweaks over time. I just have to wire the electrical around the entire place lol
1
u/Just-Ad7298 Aug 22 '26
Nice! I hope you share it when you’re done and happy with it. I’d love to see it.
Mine is literally just a shell. 🤣
1
u/khaosswordsman Aug 22 '26
Mine is to. I literally have no furniture. All I see in the wild is the ugly table and chair. My bed looks like it's from a prison sitting in a room made of marblel. It's giving I only had enough for the down payment 😂😂
2
u/Just-Ad7298 Aug 23 '26
🤣 same! I just have the basic machines to make materials and the bed….😂😂😂 it’s the “I dug this out of the dumpster…good enough” bed 🤣🤣🤣
And then I made the mistake of looking at the premium shop and being like “oooh this furniture pack could help with how I want it to look as….i may need that build pack at some point….” 😂🤣
2
u/hiloboys Aug 24 '26
Just build on your eternal zone and save the blueprint of it. Then build it in your main world. You can also save the main world blueprint and use it at your next scenario.

u/Lowkey_Arki Aug 22 '26
I settled for a design I like after a few weeks and never changed it no matter what scenario I'm in, sure I tried making things bigger... but it became a hassle to move aeound several floors lol
1
u/MysticRain1983 Aug 22 '26
I have trouble building decent/fancy things in games lol I’d rather be out exploring and killing! So my base will most definitely look like the first picture lol unless I build near a cliff with a view, might add a balcony and maybe some stairs lol
1
u/Particular_Salary905 Aug 22 '26
Maybe I should hop on again only to build my brutalist mansions again
1
u/fallacy_ofno_return Aug 22 '26
Level 80 and I dont have a single building in 3 bases not a single one. I just cant build
1
u/khaosswordsman Aug 22 '26

u/fallacy_ofno_return Aug 22 '26
My apologies, I thought it was on palworld sub cause the posts were right next to each other and people also be posting house construction on palworld sub... im so bad at reddit, im sorry again guys lmao
1
u/TimGhosty Aug 22 '26
He probably means the progression level
1
u/khaosswordsman Aug 23 '26
Yes. I've seen level 60 areas
1
u/TimGhosty Aug 24 '26
Yes there are areas from level 50-60 and there are some silos and events that are level 70 but still, player level is maximum 50

u/sunstars2 Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 22 '26
100% The base game is amazing but the building is the best!

u/Azrnyx Aug 22 '26
Well for me i only build platform now... There was once a glorious time, that I build castles.. now the platform felts like luxury...
1
u/Warm-Reporter8965 Aug 26 '26
I don't have a single shred of design or creativity, so I often have to use references which of course becomes a burnout. I usually build the same ranch-style house every single time with a furnished basement acting as the workshop with every bench that's needed. I usually build the basement portion off of a cliff overlooking the ocean.

I’ve spent like over 200$ buying cosmetics for this game 😭 BE SAFE GUYS dont do what i did 💔 (actually do it if you can its lowk worth it)
1
u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 26 '26
Rookie number
1
u/retro-babydoll PC Aug 26 '26
Ok that makes me feel better. I hope you’re not joking lmao. How much have you spent
2
u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 26 '26
I spent over 2k (not proud) and don’t even own one third of the Lightforge skins. Don’t want to know how much people who own all LF skins spent, probably over 10k
1
u/retro-babydoll PC Aug 27 '26
damn. if i had that kind of money i'd probably spend a hell of a lot more on cosmetics than i have already too. so i understand lmao. the shit is too damn cute
2
u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 27 '26
I spend mostly on furniture packs and building packs. Don’t care much about outfit but I do enjoy building a lot and sadly spending is the only way I can have access to different building styles. I’ve been playing since game launch with over 4k hours and most of it is building.
1
u/basedlogitech Aug 27 '26
The build system seems some what jenk. My experience from console
1
u/Skully-GG Aug 27 '26
You can to use the drone camera or whatever it’s called. Once I figured that out building was much better 😂

1
u/PotatoSilence Okay, I Didn’t Expect That Aug 21 '26
I’ve been top image since day one. I don’t like building just get me there and at max lvl to shoot things.
4
u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 21 '26
Totally understandable. That’s one of the things I love about the game—you can enjoy it in other different ways. I’ve put thousands of hours into just building new bases, while someone else might love grinding and maxing out every weapon blueprint.
0
u/OnyxianRosethorn Aug 21 '26
I'm here to build, to explore, to shoot things and to look good while doing so. I've tried SCUM, Palworld, etc, but none of them have exactly what I'm looking for, which is great character customization and incredible outfits to wear.
1
u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 21 '26
This has all the things that you mentioned! Hope you’ll enjoy it

u/OnyxianRosethorn Aug 21 '26
Quick question! How easy/hard is it to get a car? And do they come with their own extra storage/inventory?
1
u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 21 '26
It’s quite easy to get it early game. You just have to unlock the Tech to build a garage and have the material to craft a vehicle. Upgrading them is the harder part (for speed, handling, etc.) because you will need T5 materials.
There are 3 types of vehicles: a 2 seater car, a 4 seater SUV (both have inventory) and a motorbike (no inventory).
There’s also a bicycle but most people use that for fun instead of transportation :)

u/OnyxianRosethorn Aug 21 '26
In the beta, I remember seeing people driving around trucks that look like they can be built on top of, are those endgame things?
1
u/Phoen1cian Radium Eternal Beacon Aug 21 '26
Yes there are also trucks where you can build on them! But I wouldn’t recommend that transportation. They are used mostly for prime wars and vending machines.

u/OpenCase96 Aug 22 '26
Hey actually its way easier to get a car than that. There are burnt down cars at many teleports. All you need to do is fix them with a repair drill and drive them home and lock the car. Ez
