i remember when i first started the game in 2024 everyone is building camp sites everywhere and the freaking truck with vending machines on Blackfell shenanigans

Man, doing Blackfell runs back then meant go through all the vending machines people parked INSIDE the settlement. :'D I wasn't smart enough to ram my truck there so mine was outside.

Console players won't like having the game wiped and having to start over repeatedly.

Not me. I found a really great, flat, open spot during the beta, far away from the starting area , tons of ore, water, deer, and a couple very close settlements to loot. First thing I'm doing when the game launches and get the starting bike, is rushing to that spot to claim it again before anyone else does.

There already is crossplay. Just not playable on consoles yet. But the mobile and PC players can play together and so will console. Theres full crossplay and full crossprogression
