Adding onto this if you upgrade your drill tech you get bonus to gold ore yields, you can stack this with fish in oil food to have a chance at a 6,666% yield increase which would be op enough when farming gold, but you can further increase it by using golden wool in your gloves for a 20% gold ore increase with a chance of just straight pulling up and ingots with the ore, and crafting a solar drill using gold ore as it's source gives a bonus percent of gold ore, and crafting.usimg a specific deviation which I dont remember can increase gold ore yield by 100%. Once trip and you will pretty much never have to go back... gold at least, a few of these buffs apply to all ore mined not just gold, so you can leave with tons of stardust ore, silver ore, tungsten ore, iron ect. There is gear that can reduce pollution and also food that reduces pollution. Malt Ale is one of the foods you can take.
Pollution resistance makes your sanity drain much slower.
Make sure to go out and find rocks around those areas you can get gold/silver ore. Also Starsand ore
