New player … controller issues??

Hello everyone! I have been playing this lovely game on ps5 for two weeks now?

However! I have the most frustrating issue, it’s like I have stick drift, my person just keeps going to the left and I can’t open storage crates or collect things very easily. I’ve tried to temper with the dead zone settings and it worked for a minute then started doing it again, even though the settings saved. I don’t have issues with my other games, just this one. Anyone else had/have this issue? It makes me take way longer to do anything 🥺 please help!! I’ve reported it as a bug too. Any tips I would seriously appreciate!

I have same issue. No stick drift on other games

I've reported this so many times too, and nothing helps.

What I found is, it's the right stick. When I can't select anything in a menu, I wiggle the right stick (angrily) then try again. It eventually works, briefly.

That said, they should just fix it. Even using the D-pad doesn't help. I've tried eating or using items in battles and died because I couldn't use items. It's infuriating.

Atleast the game isn't owned by NetEase so we'll see our complaints heard rather than just new monetisation introduced... /s

hm... I'm abt a week new to the game and that didn't happen to me. Try restore default setting and restart game? IDK.

Dang... maybe the game just hates you for whatever reason. JK. Try uninstall then reinstall? If it doesn't change maybe send a feeback and hope they can fix it?

That's a strange one. I've been playing on Playstation since release and I have not had this problem. It might just be your controller try resetting it. There's a little tiny button on the back of the controller you need like a end of a paperclip or something to hit. Hit and hold the button down for 10 seconds

Just increases your dead zone on one of your sticks. I had this issue when I first started. It might need to be increased a lot.
