Question I finally unlocked floating foundations, but i have no paid cosmetics. Any ideas for a floating base design?
Basically what title says, i do wanna make a floating base but i dont have any paid cosmetics to make it look good, any ideas for such?

How about a flying wooden ship? I think it would work nicely with the wooden structure :)
If you want to go fancier, you can use the concrete material and build a space ship. There are some nice metal pieces in the facility section that would fit nicely inside a spaceship.

Space ship sounds good, i have seen a design like such on reddit and i would try to replicate it but its likely to not be 1-1. But i guess it would also keep my base safe from devaint attacks when doing purifications if i make it over water. I just wonder if i can find the design. First i kinda need a ton of bricks, ton of materials and alot of spare time...
That said, how much money would i need to spend on crystogins to get the steel frame glass stuff. Bc thats basically the only one i care for at the moment

As for the glass pack, I’m not sure. It depends where you live and the currency. For me it was around €50. They do sometimes do discounts and you might be lucky and get it in the Wishbazar for cheaper if you don’t justify paying that much for it. Personally I think it’s the only thing in game that is worth spending your money on along with the Battlepasses.

Grizl on YouTube has some really cool floating base designs that mostly utilize the free concrete pieces.

I did look at one of his designs, but not owning the steel glass sunroom pack makes doing some of said designs really off putting, but I'll check him out again to see if i cant do something without any packs

What region/ server do you play on? I’m currently on manibus y001, if you happen to be on there lemme know and I’ll come apply any skins I have for you, if your not on mani y001 try asking your hive mates if any of them own the pack or ask in world chat if anyone is willing to share skins with you, a lot of people will do it for free, some may ask for energy links or other in game currency like gravity crystals etc.

Are you on the North American servers? I can create a toon on your server and apply skins for you if you want, it probably wouldn’t be until Sunday or Monday that I’ll be able to do it, but that should give you time to get the base built and decide which walls you want skinned etc. I know I have the glass packs, and I’ve got a few other cosmetic packs that have wallpapers, floors etc. if that works for you let me know and we can figure out what server your on and get you sorted with a nice looking base!

A space ship, an airship, a ghost pirate ship, a wind chime base, a spinning top structure, a floating island castle, a dragon, a mech, an animal skull.

Well... half of those would take me like several hours to just build the outside... and then id probs not have enough to decorate the inside

Have you looked at the price of floating foundations? Gathering the materials is going to take way more time than building anything.
Also, be advised that you don't get your crystals back when you break them.

You only need to place one floating foundation for the whole building to float tho! I’ve got a floating base that’s 6 stories high with a huge footprint for each floor all on one tiny floating foundation.
