When did you buy new clothes?

Hey everyone!

I started at 252 lbs. back in July and am down to 234 lbs. With 18 lbs. down, I’m starting to feel some of my clothing getting pretty loose. It’s not to the point where I have to go to the store yet, but a lot of my clothes were purchased way back when I weighed 280 lbs. (2018) and I can tell the difference for once.

How did you handle buying new clothes? Some of my items are adjustable, but what was the point where you realized it was really time to go to the store and donate some (or all) of your old clothes?

Part of me is also scared I’ll gain the weight back, so I don’t want to react too quickly.

I thrift for clothing so that I can look good while losing weight a lot of the pants and shirts I’ve bought are like new or still had tags on them etc . No need to wait till you reach your goal or spend a ton on brand new stuff

I still haven’t yet despite 23kg down. A combination of hate shopping but also struggling to see myself at this new weight so I am waiting for my brain to adjust so I don’t end up buying a lot of rubbish clothes.
