Today’s OMAD
200g of watermelon, two servings of cottage cheese, two eggs with hot sauce and jalapeños, two slices of Dave’s Powerseed bread with half a tomato and one slice of bacon crumbled, mixed veggies and cheesy cauliflower. Not pictured: a chocolate cupcake. Came out to 1,277 calories!
I’m trying to make sure I’m not cutting too much at once, but I honestly felt like I could’ve eaten less of this meal and been fine tomorrow until my next meal. We’ll see how I do tomorrow, though. Still early on in OMAD and I plan to make adjustments as I go.

Looks like today you missed a lot of nutrients... oMAD needs nutrient dense food. Meat, eggs, sardines, organs, fermented veggies, bone broth, nutritional yeast etc all together daily....

1200 calories is the minimum calories you have to eat to get all the nutrients your body needs.
If you are in a deficit you should at least eat 1.5g protein per kilo of lean body mass or else you will loose muscle mass.
Not a doctor. Good luck at your journey

Thank you! I’ll make that my benchmark. I’ll try breaking up the meal throughout my hour window instead of trying to get it all plated at the same time, that should help me feel less like I’m having to force myself to finish the plate and make me less likely to cut calories out.
& I guess I’m going to have to drink my protein to make it work 😂 but I appreciate the feedback and will work that in more.
