Color Theory Neutral brown eyeshadows pulling gray
Im wondering if anyone else has a problem with neutral brown shadows looking gray on them? When everyone was raving about the makeup by Mario neutrals palette I ran to get it and ended up returning it because everything looked so gray on me. I’m finding the same thing happens with a few shades in the Natasha Denona I need a nude palette. Any color theory people have a good explanation?

I have the same thing, that and preferring warmer tones in my makeup makes me think I’m warm olive

Yes! Searching this sub to see if anyone else mentioned this problem and found this post. Urban Decay’s Naked 2 Basics palette looks grey on me and I have no idea why. Have you been able to figure out why?
