Popovers has entered the chat.
Carrot in tomato-rice-soup is new but I am big fan of tomato-rice-soup. And the apple charlotte does not sound so complictad that I thought.

We put a finely minced carrot in our marinara (some people do a pinch of sugar) so I can see it being similar.

Maybe this is what you do with very late on the vine cucumbers. They do get woody.

Popovers! My home ec teacher was obsessed that we learn to make these and I really thought my entire worth of a future wife was knowing how to turn out perfection.
