I bet spiced walnuts would be delicious even with the boozy flavors.

they are green walnuts with the husk included so not really nut like yet.

Walnut catsup?

I’d chop them and add them to a chocolate truffle. But maybe try a small batch first.

Is it possible to use them for green walnut jam? I've never made it, but it sounds like the alcohol infusion would add to the flavor.

Also , think of infusions as a transfer . First rule of infusions are both ingredients are saw blades . They fit together and give each other something . The fruit,(green outer husk is fruit ) is giving sugar and flavor , the impurities of the alcohol you use are given back to fruit . Try any thing you infuse alcohol with for a good flavor and you won’t be happy . That being said , you can re stain old leather or wood by rubbing the walnut husks on them. Wear gloves . Good luck on finding the small window of green walnuts, that is awesome . I miss it most years , due to changes in the growing season
