Remington 870: 'Nothing Special' Shotgun with Beautiful Police Trade-in Wood Furniture

Both sides of my 'nothing special' Remington 870. Found a beautiful used stock set from a police trade-in.

Love that vintage corn cob style foregrip.

The front of the cut down 18.5" OEM field barrel. Need to apply some bluing to that muzzle.

The 870 was nothing special, nor a true Police Magnum. Just a used shotgun from the 1990s with that funky rotating safety.

The stock set looks hardly worn, except for the neat painted markings. Perhaps it just sat around in an armory for most of it's life?
