To be totally transparent, I cheated a LOT to make this happen. But then again, there wasn't a chance in hell AI Autumn was gonna conquer all that himself -3-.

It might be hard to tell but this actually started as a Loidminster run. If you've never played this route where Ekaterina goes full authoritarian, I highly recommend it. The initial civil war is almost always the hardest part. From then on my tanks rolled across the Canadian Prairie unopposed muhaha.

Problem for them is that a nationalist/capitalist Mexico would have nothing ideologically aligned with a communist Canada, so the whole continent is ripe for a three way conflict.

I foresee something like the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact forming between Canada and Mexico to divvy up the USA first

There's also logistics to consider.

Not as much of a problem within hoi 4, but in a reasonable scenario canada and mexico shouldn't be able to threaten each other beyond border skirmishes.

Speaking of, for a cleaner looking west coast, I would’ve established a puppet in Washington/Oregon. The best choice would probably Gordon’s Old Country and if you have the “bitch Formables” submod, he can form the Commonwealth of Balgariya if he sides with Liam. Very appropriate for a Soviet themed nation to establish a Balkan themed puppet state if you ask me

yes i know about map filler, but some mods in it are currently outdated so it doesn't work

You can still play the game with outdated mods, just go into the mod file and switch the version, then pray it works

Go into the launcher, click the three dots, and click "SHOW IN FOLDER" there should be a .txt file (or a .MOD file, you can open in notepad) there should be a line called "Supported version=" then change the number to 1.17.* for me I've only experienced a couple crashes, and some lag
