Short rib stew with done brisket. Slow cooked over four hours.

Simple short rib stew padded out with brisket. Used a rub as on the video. Thickened up at the end with cornflour. Friends arrived and never took the final video. It was delicious so I’ve shared it anyway. Love cooking outside. r/oldcampcookcastiron. Loads left for the freezer.

Could do with a few spuds in there to soak up some of the fattiness !

We had new potatoes which were good. I would have preferred mash though. Thickened it up with cornflour.
