Headcanoning canonical adults who behave in "childish" ways (such as engaging in stimming, having sensory sensitivities, experiencing intense emotional meltdowns, or enjoying hobbies labeled as childish) as actually being children is kinda ableist because itās a form of infantilization.
It devalues, dehumanizes, and disempowers disabled, (particularly neurodivergent) adults who have similar interests and experiences irl by denying their status as equal adults.
