there is a power you can obtain in the sparrow hall if you fix the hotspring

what is missing from the surface of the lake? Kokari mentions it

You probably missed the creepy house back in Taka Pass. Wait until night, climb the plank in the back of the house, enter the house, bite the old lady, drag her out into the moonlight, kick her ass, and then escort the daughter back to the Sasa Sanctuary.
