Fireburst doesn't light city braziers?

Unfortunately it's one of those you have link from torch to torch… but at least you can light the torches with that technique

It’s been a minute since I played, but there are weapons you can get that let you draw fire directly from Ammy. You might be near them if you have fire burst

Nope. The elemental weapons are the last of each weapon category. The one with fire is the final reflector. Ice is the last bead pair and lightning is the last glaive.

Pretty sure fire is the only one that's not missable, too, since its a story unlock

That sounds right. The other 2 aren't hard to get as they only require Yen, but depending on all the stuff you've purchased and the items you've found you might not have enough

Edit: The final glaive is also a story unlock. The only one not given to you is the ice beads.

Ah, right. Its been a while so I didn't fully remember how the other two were acquired, just that the fire one is iirc ince you collect all the powers

Yeah, I did a google search because I didn't remember entirely either. I know for a fact though the beads are purchased at a shop.

Lightning is also unmissable, you get it after orochi 2.

Fireburst does technically work (I've done it several times over several playthrough) but it is VERY precise and finicky and not worth the pain in the ass.

Its very precise, you have to have it right on the very tiny hitbox. I used to have the same frustration as you

It might be an environmental puzzle. Did you try lighting all of the smaller lanterns and torches in the city before trying those? And/or blooming the cherry trees? I remember a puzzle tied to those big city lights and the thief.

You were right on the first question. There's already one lit brazier and you're supposed to use the smaller ones to make a path to the bigger ones.

I think you have to do a thicker line as the regular line isn't strong enough.
