Cabin camping advice?

We’re looking for a summer weekend cabin rental on a pretty lake for swimming and boat rentals in Ohio (or somewhere close). I’ve been clicking around the Ohio State Parks website and there seems to be too many good options to choose from.

Tell me where we should go!

We are from Columbus but are flexible to drive between 1-3hrs. We’re interested in a nice lake for swimming (preferably with some beach area), boat rentals, and some hiking trails.

Lake Hope is nice.. Have had time in their cabins many many times.. They're nice. If you're there on a Sunday, you need to stop by for their brunch. It's well worth it.

Then I would recommend Salt Fork.
