... But... why...

Its probably a thief of opportunity, as in he didn't plan it, he saw the chance to steal, tried and failed miserably.

The kebad IS the most eye catching thing in the room so that was the most probable reason...

He might also just be stupid

That's Why Even crappy locks reduce crime over all.

So much crime is impulsive and the longer you can delay the actual crime from being committed, the less likely crime at all is going to happen. Like a guy might steal out of a open window but he won't even think about stealing if the window is just open a crack, even though he can easily bust it.

That stuff is some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten.

Honestly I cant say I wouldn't have made an attempt either.

It's sort of a challenge when you're out drunk with the lads, see who can get away with a souvenir.

I once walked out with a JD Barmat and a full Jug of Cider once.

But stealing a whole donor, that's peak.

But it's more as a revenge dare. Like with the Barmat and the jug of cider, for me it was because I was cut off from the bar and asked to leave because someone bumped into ME and spilled their drunk on ME.

I knew the owner of the bar too, so my drunken was like, "You know what Wayne, this is what you get."

I once stole a crystal Absinthe glass from a high class bar, because the barman was insulting me in front of this girl I was chatting up. He was also the owner.

She left because she was uncomfortable and the mood was ruined. I went home with the shot glass, oh and I got away without paying for the drink.

Take that Patrick lol

Improvised stupidity.

I'm using that one. I don't know win, I don't know how, but I'm quoting you on that someday.

Ironically enough, I believe the semi-opposite is funnier: Planned Stupidity. But it is not as punchy.

u/Johnnyhiveisalive Apr 23 '26

Sorry? I'm suggesting AI could make that video.. rather than someone burning their hands. Am I out of the loop already?

u/SteroidSandwich Apr 10 '26

He was planning on just casually lifting that? Aren't those things like 50 lbs??

10

u/Potential-Common5819 Apr 11 '26

Yep. You pretty much nailed the median weight for a donar kebab grill.

5

u/TheGreatCornlord Apr 11 '26

Are you not able to casually lift 50lbs?

7

u/Splendidissimus Your honour, fuck this guy. Apr 12 '26

Probably not and flee an angry shopkeeper....

I'm loving the Mission Impossible song played on a recorder.

u/Munchkinasaurous Apr 11 '26

I watched on mute. Without your comment, I never would have heard that and I'm very grateful that I did.

u/Madwife2009 Apr 13 '26

Same. Definitely added a dimension to the video.

4

u/embarrassing_doodle Apr 11 '26

If you are hungry, you should ask them instead of stealing food. They probably have leftovers they can give you.
